Zur Garkueche in Stolpen

Mega yummy 🥰. We had goose breast and sauerbraten with red cabbage and dumplings for Christmas and it was just delicious and lots of it. We will order again. Many Thanks

Ready-made schnitzel, frozen vegetables, sauce from the packet. The owner took care of the kitchen, counter and service, definitely not easy, but not worth two stars either. The price is okay, the taste makes you feel full.

Have already dined at Wurst-Willi in Cologne and at Currywurst-Sepp in Biberach, but here I ate the world's best currywurst today. This sausage with a bite and the terrific sauce, simply heavenly.

Arrived 30 minutes before closing time. Five people. In most of the restaurants we probably would not have been provided with the meal card. But here it is. Very friendly host and waiter. The menu is manageable, but what we were served left nothing to be desired. We haven't eaten a better currywurst anywhere. The sausage itself is a "custom-made product" that is only available here. The homemade sauce is a dream. The other dishes may not have been "haute couisine" either, but they were lovingly prepared, served and really tasty. Plus cheap. Not to forget the rustic pub itself with one or the other (N) Ostalgie decoration. Thank you for the hospitality :-)

Simply an ingenious authentic traditional economy with ingenious food and a great host. A must for every visitor of Stolpen !! We will be back your Aschaffenburger

Cozy economy. Average food. But you can eat it.

Local Saxonian Cuisine in a very local ambiente. This small restaurant is full of history and a clear recommendation. Don’t expect haute cuisine. It is simple but delicious

a pub that reflects the character of the historic city of Stolpen. Here the chef cooks himself and entertains the guests. If you like rustic and simple, this is the place for you. Update: 11/18/18 have been eating rollade .... fantastic! Every now and then there are Dieters shutters. He can do that best (boss). That's already got around.

Full stars for this wonderful cozy oasis! Very nice woman has served us today, highly recommended the "gatekeeper breakfast" ... really quaint and great ...

The food and the service is 5 * worth! Delicious schnitzel and fried potatoes! Price performance fits and I have even free wifi can use! Thanks for that! I'll be back! 😎
